Deepali Sayyad had accused Kapil of misbehaving with her after getting 'too drunk'
Mumbai: Standup comedian, Kapil Sharma was recently in news for all the wrong reasons. Marathi actress Deepali Sayyad had accused Kapil of misbehaving with her after getting "too drunk". The event in question was a wrap-up party to celebrate the International Marathi Film Festival Awards 2015.
The report was confirmed by Deepali, who was quoted saying, “Kapil wanted to dance with me but I did not. I moved away," she said before adding, "I don't know Kapil. I prefer to dance with people whom I know. So, I danced with Gutthi and Palak (two famous characters of Comedy Nights)."
At the PETA Person of the Year event, when Kapil was asked about it, he said, “I don’t know where this news came from. First of all I want to clarify that I was not present at the award function. I don’t know who made a mountain out of a mole-hill. I believes everyone is like me, who loves everybody. but there are some people who made these news.”
