The 2003 Australian Open and Wimbledon Grand Slam winning mixed doubles pair of Martina Navratilova and Leander Paes will take on Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupati on November 26.
Hyderabad: The 2003 Australian Open and Wimbledon Grand Slam winning mixed doubles pair of Martina Navratilova and Leander Paes will take on Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupati on November 26 at the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy in the city.
Maritna and Leander will play Sania and Mahesh, who won the Australian Open in 2009 and the French Open in 2012, as part of the promotional tour for the second season of the International Premier Tennis League.
“SMTA is very proud to be hosting this event in Hyderabad. This is another step in promoting tennis in India and is certain to inspire the promising youngsters from this part of the globe, who are aspiring to become world beaters in this amazing sport,” Sania said.
