NTR Trust to help Groups’ aspirants
Nara Brahmani said the trust would extend support to poor students for coaching in competitive examinations
Hyderabad: NTR Trust Trustee and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani said the trust would extend support to poor students for coaching in competitive examinations. Speaking to the media at the Skill Development Centre in NTR Trust on Friday, Brahmini said that the students will be given free coaching in Group 1 and Group II exams and also for employment tests. She said the trust would start the programme with 60 students and take in more later.
With an aim to creating “good officers” for both states of Andhra and Telangana, the NTR Trust wants to support the needs of poor students. The trust is already catering to the needs of health, education, empowerment, livelihood, disaster relief centres and blood bank.
Ms Brahmini said 800 students had passed out of the NTR model school that was started in 2005 for the children of party workers from weaker sections and those who lost their lives. The school has started a skill development centre for unemployed youths, After six weeks of training, interviews are arranged in various companies to provide placements.
