She could be the next one to come aboard the multi-starrer

After pulling a coup of sorts by roping in five stars including Arya, Vishal, Arvind Swami, Atharva and Rana Daggupati, looks like Bala’s multi-starrer is getting bigger. Sources say Bala is keen to bring in the hot and happening Anushka Shetty on board for the supposedly-bold role as the female lead. The movie is said to be dealing with the controversial subject of Kuttra Parambarai, which is about the survival of a fading race in pre-independent India. Though it is unclear whether the film will have multiple heroines, an inside source reveals that the main heroine has a huge bearing on the script. They add that the national award-winning filmmaker wanted a performing actress to don the role and hence approached Anushka — and the latter was excited to give her approval. It is learnt that the leggy lady who is in the process of shedding a few kilos which she added for her previous film Inji Iduppazhagi, is working out possible dates for the alluring offer.
