Bataclan mishap: Restaurant worker killed by stray Kalashnikov bullet
Paris: A restaurant worker, living opposite the Bataclan theatre, was shot dead during the devastating attack on Friday night by ISIS terrorists.
Stephane Hache, 52, lost his life on Friday when a stray Kalashnikov bullet, fired by the terrorists, entered the apartment through his open window and injured him gravely. Hache, who worked as a restaurant worker, was allegedly renting a studio apartment opposite the Bataclan hall when terror struck the theatre.
It is believed that Mr Hache might have left the window of the apartment open due to warm weather. Hache’s body was found a day after the attacks.
The incident came to light when Hache’s parents who live in Sables-d'Olonne informed the police. His parents informed the police after repeatedly trying to contact him. Police then entered the flat and found Hache’s body.
At the time of attacks, a popular US band, Eagles of Death Metal, was performing in front of a huge crowd when the gunmen opened fire at people and took a few of them to hostages. Soon after, two terrorists detonated their suicide bombing vests.
Bataclan, a popular Paris venue, experienced the deadliest attacks which witnessed the deatHache’s body was found a day after the attacksh of 129 people while countless others were injured.
