Chilly winds to stay for 2 days
Minimum temperatures have dipped to 20ºC
Hyderabad: Due to depression and low pressure, there will be chilly winds, fog and low visibility in the early mornings for two more days. Minimum temperatures have dipped to 20ºC and the weather bureau states that it is due to the cyclonic conditions.
The low pressure continues to cover the west-central Bay of Bengal due to which Prakasam and Nellore of Coastal Andhra Pradesh will be affected on Thursday. Areas around Ranga Reddy, Shamshabad Airport, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad and others experienced fog in the last two days and the situation will remain the same because of the heavy cloud formation.
The minimum temperatures will continue to be at 20ºC for the next two to three days. It will, however, increase by one degree once the weather clears, said an official from the Indian Meterological Department (IMD). In 2014 November too, the temperatures had ranged from 18 to 20ºC in Telangana. Meanwhile, the weather bureau states that within a fortnight. the minimum temperatures will dip further, to 16ºC in the region.
