Khammam: The services of VHP former international president Ashok Singhal have been recalled by BJP leaders on Wednesday. BJP district president K. Sridhar Reddy said that Singhal is a symbol of Ayodhya movement and key strategist for kar seva. He said that the VHP leader organised several programmes to achieve unity among the Hindus. “The people of the country should follow the spirit shown by Singhal to enhance the respect of Hinduism,” he said.
BJP district general secretary G. Satyanarayana said that the death of Singhal is a loss to the country. “Because of Singhal, Hindus did get fame and name in the country,” he said, adding that Singhal worked as international president of VHP for 20 years. Singhal revived and developed several ancient temples.
