Gautham to revive Dhruva Natchathiram with Jayam Ravi?

Gautham approached Jayam Ravi after he was impressed with the latter’s recent hit Thani Oruvan
If industry grapevine is anything to go by, filmmaker Gautham Menon might revive his ambitious project Dhruva Natchathiram, which was initially supposed to be made with Suriya. The Kaakha Kaakha actor opted out of the film saying that Gautham was taking too much time to tweak the story — this caused some bad blood between the ace director and the top hero.
Now, rumours are abuzz that Gautham approached Jayam Ravi after he was impressed with the latter’s recent hit Thani Oruvan, directed by his brother Mohan Raja. Speculations are rife that they both met a while ago and it looks like Ravi in fact, gave his consent to be a part of this project. Since Dhruva Natchathiram has a plot that signifies the profession of a cop, Gautham may have opted to choose Jayam Ravi as he felt he would be appropriate for the role. Sources say that Photon Kathas will be producing the movie.
Earlier, names like Ajith and Vikram were associated with this project, but nothing took off. Harris Jayaraj is likely to be the music director. Official confirmation is awaited. Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi, is currently busy with his zombie-tale Miruthan and Gautham is shooting Achcham Yenbathu Madamiayada with Simbu.
