Aamir flew back to Mumbai for a week's bedrest on doctor's orders
Mumbai: Aamir Khan, who was injured on the sets of new film 'Dangal' in Ludhiana, flew back to Mumbai for a week's bedrest on doctor's orders. Filming has been stalled and he will have to wait for the doctor to decide at the end of the week when he can resume work.
Aamir's close friends, Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor dropped down to meet the actor. They enquired about Aamir's health and the nature of his injured sustained while shooting for the film. Being the gracious host that he is, Aamir later came to see off to his two friends. They posed for the paparazzi gathered outside Aamir's residence, exchanged warm hugs, bid goodbyes and soon left for their respective cars.
Aamir's role in the Nitesh Tiwari-directed sports biopic has generated several headlines because of the weight he's put on to play Mahavir Phogat. He weighed over 90 kilos when filming began and was having trouble breathing and walking.
On the other hand, Karan and Ranbir recently came back from London, where they were shooting for their film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
