TSGenco cautions aspirants
Hyderabad: Telangana State Power Generation Corporation on Monday asserted that the candidates who appeared for the exams for recruitment to the posts of assistant engineers, would be selected purely on merit basis, duly following the rule of reservations.
TSGenco CMD D. Prabhakar Rao cautioned the candidates not to fall prey to false assurances by anyone. He said that if any middlemen approach the candidates promising “help” with appointments, they must bring this to the notice of the TSGenco management with evidence so that criminal action can be taken.
Mr Rao said a helpline number (8332983914) will work round-the-clock to receive complaints from candidates. As many as 94,930 candidates wrote the exam for the 856 posts of assistant engineer, while 14,977 were absent.
