CM meet unforgettable, says Vishal

CM will attend foundation laying ceremony of Sangam building: Nasser
Chennai: “It was an unforgettable moment”, exclaimed Vishal after meeting the Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa, at the secretariat on Monday along with the newly-elected office-bearers of Nadigar Sangam, including Nasser, Karthi, Karunas and Ponvannan.
The Chief Minister congratulated them on their victory in the recently held SIAA elections. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Vishal said, “It was a great day for Nadigar Sangam. We extended our gratitude to madam for giving us appointment to meet her.
“She shared her experiences with the sangam and recalled the golden age of SIAA when Sivaji Ganesan sir and Major Sundarrajan sir were governing it and advised us to bring back the golden period once again”.
He added, “We got the biggest boost when Madam said the government is ready to extend its help and support for the sangam members whenever the need arises. “Those were golden words from ma’am. We are confident that our sangam has a bright future”.
There’s yet another gesture of the CM. Nasser explained, “We made a request to her to grace the occasion of laying the foundation’ for construction of Nadigar Sangam building. Her reply touched us. The Chief Minister said, “Inform me in advance, so that I will definitely make time to attend the event. We are looking forward to that day”.
