Rani Mukerji lands in hospital as festive celebrations take a toll on her health

Mumbai: Rani Mukerji, who is pregnant, needed medical attention after the festive celebrations left her exhausted. According to reports, the actress was hospitalized over the weekend.

Rani, who attended some industry Diwali bashes, has been advised bed rest. The actress was admitted to a hospital as the doctor felt she needed to rest for a few days under medical supervision. Rani was discharged but she chose to rest in the hospital for a few days as she wanted to avoid the dust and noise caused by the ongoing work in her house.

The actress has been avoiding media glare due to her pregnancy. She had even chosen to skip Durga Puja celebrations this year. Although the actress has been taking extra precaution to be away from limelight, she was also snapped with Aditya by her side a couple of weeks ago. Rani is expecting her first child in January.
