French embassy cancels ‘Tamasha’ felicitation event after Paris attacks
The Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer has been extensively shot in Corsica
Mumbai: The makers of ‘Tamasha’- director Imtiaz Ali and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, were to be honoured by the French embassy in New Delhi this week. As the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer has been extensively shot in Corsica, the authorities felt it would boost tourism potential to the country.
However, in the wake of the recent Paris terror attacks, the felicitation function stands cancelled. The event had been timed as a countdown to the film’s release next week.
The team members have expressed their sadness and shock over the attacks and have said that they stand with the French embassy and tourism department.
