Aamir Khan to resume shoot in 10 days
Actor is in Mumbai, nursing a shoulder injury and hopes to be back on Dangal shoot
Aamir Khan, as we all know, has been pushing the limits of physical stamina to get the look right in his upcoming film Dangal, where he plays a wrestler — Mahavir Singh Phogat. Last week he suffered a shoulder injury, stalling the film’s shoot, but if all goes well, the actor will be back on the sets in ten days.
Aamir has gained a lot of weight for the role and had complained of breathlessness earlier this year. Shooting in Punjab last week, he suffered a shoulder injury while working on a wrestling sequence and had to be immediately rushed to the hospital. Aamir has been constantly working out like a real wrestler would, to be in shape till the end of the shoot schedule.
Says a source, “The doctor at that time told him to rest and suggested that he stop shooting. So Aamir returned to Mumbai on Monday night and is at his residence, recovering.
Another doctor from Mumbai told him to nurse the injury before resuming work. He has been advised complete bed rest. There is still around 10 days of shooting left and once he is fully recovered, he will starting shooting again.”
