ViewSonic launches new LightStream PJD5151 projector
Mumbai: ViewSonic Corp, a provider of consumer electronics and communication solutions, has introduced the all new PJD5151 in their Light Stream PJD5 Series, which projects high-quality images, and features smart applications.
With superior audiovisual features, flexible connectivity options and an affordable price, the PJD5151 is ideal for use in education and small business environments.
The PJD5151 features an all-black model design and has a striking look, with tapered sides. It measures 316 x 228 x 103.7 mm (HWD) and weighs 4.85 pounds, and should be easily portable and compact enough to be transported from meeting rooms or classrooms.
The full 3D 1080p projector, with high contrast ratio of 22,000:1, produces bright vivid colours due to its 3,300-lumen brightness.
ViewSonic’s proprietary SuperColor Technology offers a wider color range than conventional DLP projectors for true-to-life color performance in any light. The 6-Segment Color Wheel maximizes brightness increased by 15 per cent or more with the highest color saturation over others in the same class.
The PJD5151 has a solid selection of ports, two VGA inputs, RS232 control ports and a mini USB Type-B port for remote mouse control and maintenance.
With DLP Link Technology, the PJD5151 is capable of projecting amazing 3D content at 120Hz refresh rate. It can project in 3D from PCs, as well as from Blu-ray players and set-top boxes over an HDMI connection.
The projector’s vivid 3D experience can be further enhanced with ViewSonic 3D active shutter glasses, 3D content, and a 3D-enabled video card.
Viewing experience is enhanced with five color modes that users can choose the best one to suit their material. These five modes are:
- Brightest Mode for environments where extra-high brightness is required.
- Dynamic Mode for presentations under daylight environment and text content.
- Standard Mode for matching PC or NB color.
- ViewMatch Mode for general viewing.
- Movie Mode for watching movies with better saturation in a dark environment.
