Gated towns in Hyderabad get go-ahead
Hyderabad: The realty scenario is looking up and new projects are many. Serilingampally and Rajendranagar are prime areas with at least 10 realty giants getting permissions for new projects.
Massive gated communities, commercial complexes and big brand offices spread over acres have been approved in these areas. These include a proposal from a Dubai-based company too. This financial year, the GHMC has earned Rs 600 crore as building fee, the highest so far.
Some of the new projects are the Phoenix Infocity Private Limited in Gachibowli and Serlingampally, Divyasree Orion B8 in Raidurgam of Serligampally and Prism Ventures LLP coming up in Gachibowli-Serilingampally. An office complex of Gar Corporation, Laxmi Cyber Space, is coming up in Kokapet-Rajendranagar. Another commercial complex, Meenakshi Technova, is rising in Nanakramguda and another by Trishala Infrastructure in the Satamrai area of Shamshabad.
Rajendranagar has giant residential complexes in the making like the Hill Crest residential complex in Puppalguda and Esswar Constructions in Hyderguda. These projects have provided jobs and have boosted the city's growth.
HMDA planning wing authorities said, “The HMDA area is divided into several zones like residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial. In case a commercial venture is seeking permission in a residential zone, land change process has to be done. At present, the government is revamping the process of land change like the Green Channel procedure, for building permission. Most of the projects seeking permission are in Gachibowli, Raidurgam, Hyderguda and Nanakramguda.”
On November 9, CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced that due to availability of large areas of land and the rapidly growing infra hub around Outer Ring Road, a Metro corridor would be planned along the expressway to provide transport.
