Ranjith Sankar’s upcoming Jayasurya film Su Su Sudhivathmeekam, which is all set to hit the screens, is being touted as a biopic on the director’s friend. Recently the director himself has scribbled on his facebook page that “Almost all the characters in Su Su are pretty dear to me, especially because I know some of them personally.”
The latest news is that the director himself has acted in the film. Confirming the news, Ranjith says “Yes I am coming in front of the camera through Su Su... But it is just a cameo role and I am acting as myself — a film director. In fact, another person was supposed to do that role. But owing to date clash, I was forced to take up the role. Vinod Illampally, our cinematographer, is also sharing the screen space with me in that scene,” says Ranjith.
The film which has Jayasurya and Shivatha in the lead roles is slated to release on November 20. Su Su ... is jointly produced by Jayasurya and Ranjith.
