Exclusive: We shared our pain and bonded over it: Bharat on Sunaina Roshan
The couple who had been childhood friends met at a pathology lab and exchanged numbers
Mumbai: A few months ago, Sunaina Roshan found love in Bharat Kapoor, an architect by profession. The couple who had been childhood friends met at a pathology lab, exchanged numbers and started talking.
When we spoke to Sunaina, who has gone to Amby Valley to spend time with Bharat and his mother, one could feel the happiness in her voice. Talking about Bharat, she says, “We met at a lab as both of us have health issues and both of us had gone for some tests. We have known each other from the time we were in our teens. We bumped into each other, exchanged numbers and started talking and realized we gel very well and give each other happiness.”
“His mother is very happy for both of us and that’s how parents are. Even my parents are happy to see me happy,” she added.
Bharat, who has come out strong and healthy after being bed ridden for two years after he survived multiple fractures from a bad road accident, talks with happiness and contentment in his voice. He says, “What matters is happiness. A lot of efforts and adjustments are made when two people come together and you have to nurture that bond which you make. For me what is important right now is that we are happy. I want to keep her, my mom and her parents happy. We both have seen a lot of pain and we know how it feels to be in out of hospitals. We bonded over that pain. Living like this is a beautiful feeling when you have someone to share happiness and the pain. Sunaina is a lovely girl who has a very strong will power. I am looking forward to happiness and love.”
Talking about tying the knot he says, “Right now this is bliss, I am happy to have found a partner in Sunaina and we count on each other. As days will pass we shall see how it goes. But to me what matters the most is love and happiness.”
