KM Mani sets Pala abuzz after return
Kottayam: After coming back to his home in Pala, former finance minister K.M. Mani was busy attending local functions and meeting the people of his locality thereby renewing contact with his constituents. He inaugurated the ‘zonal meet’ of the fire force association in Pala on Saturday morning.
Speaking at the inauguration, he said, that it was his first public function in Pala after resigning from the post of finance minister. He assured them that he would stand with them to safeguard their interests.
He attended three marriage functions in his constituency on Saturday morning. He also visited a funeral at St Augustine’s Church Pravithanam.
In the afternoon he rested at his Karingozhikal house at Pala. Later he received people who came to visit him and offer their support to him. The Karingozhikal house was abuzz with party activists gathering in small groups discuss-ing the latest developm-ents in the state government.
Meanwhile, Youth Front (M) state president Prince Lukose came down heavily on V.S. Achuthananthan’s comment on Jose K. Mani MP. Alluding to those comments – the former CM had hinted that Jose K. Mani was linked to Saritha S. Nair whose name is involved in the solar scam – he said that Mr Achuthananthan should make it clear why his son V.A. Arunkumar had gone to Macau.
