We worked without egos: Nikhil

Promoting his film Sankarabharanam, which is releasing on December 4, actor Nikhil says, “This is the film I wanted to do after Surya vs Surya.”

“I was looking for a different genre like my earlier three films and I got a call from writer Kona Venkat. He has worked with top actors like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Balakrishna and I was so happy that he chose me for the film,” says the actor.

He adds that he asked Kona to narrate the full script as he wanted to know more about the character. “Some of the stories are written keeping the actors in mind, but this film’s story is different. After they prepared the story, they started looking out for suitable actors and I am glad that Kona felt that I was apt for the film,” says Nikhil, adding, “The other good thing about the film is that all of us worked without any egos. From the smallest technician to Kona, we worked like a team. The shooting took place in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other locations and I gave all my time to this film, from beginning to end,” he says.
