The first look of Vishal’s Kathakali being directed by Pandiraj is out and the makers are planning to release the film on Pongal. Touted as a supense thriller, the movie has Catherine Tresa paired opposite the Paayum Puli star for the first time. Hip Hop Tamizha will compose music for the film — second time for a Vishal film after Aambala. Meanwhile, it is heard that Idhu Namma Aalu, starring Simbu and Nayanthara in the lead, will also hit the screens during the festive season. The audio launch of the film is expected to take place in December. Interestingly, this film too was helmed by Pandiraj, and is yet to see the light of the day owing to few technical glitches.
It will be one rare occasion if both the films hit the screens on Pongal. Pasanga 2, for which Pandiraj wielded the megaphone, too is set for a theatrical release soon.
