Ajith advised to be under rest for three months
The actor underwent a surgery on Thursday, which was initially expected to take place on November 24
Ajith Kumar’s Vedalam had its release a few days ago and now, the actor has undergone a knee surgery at a private hospital here on Thursday, following which he has been advised to be under rest for three months. Sources say the surgery was initially planned for November 24, but had to be advanced as the actor couldn’t bear the pain.
While shooting the climax sequence of Vedalam, Ajith injured his knee. It’s known that he prefers to perform risky sequences in his films without any body double. Dr. David Rajan of Kumaran hospital performed the surgery and post that, Ajith was immediately shifted to the Intensive Care Unit where he’s recovering well.
Sources add that he may not start working on his next Tamil film until June 2016. There are also speculations that he would again do a film with ‘Siruthai’ Siva for the third time. We hear the project was planned while they were working on Vedalam, and it’s expected to go on floors in the second half of next year.
