Sources close to the Khan family claim that Arpita and Alvira felt Lulia Vantur was too ‘indiscreet’ about her relationship with their brother on social media; hence disapproved of her as their bhabhi-to-be.
There’s been much speculation over whether or not Romanian beauty Lulia Vantur is still a part of Salman Khan’s life. Well, sources close to the Khan family told us that the relationship status at present is “frozen” and that if Lulia is not part of Salman’s life, then it is because his sisters (Alvira and Arpita) disapproved.
Our source reported that Lulia was “definitely” a potential candidate for marriage for Salman. But a premature announcement and flashing of a ring on social media put an end to that possibility. “Lulia flashed a ring on social media and this made Alvira and Arpita very angry. They’re very protective and possessive of Salman and they felt Lulia had been too indiscreet and therefore, wasn’t the right wife for their brother. They packed her off home to Romania,” our khabru shared.
Salman sets great store by his family’s wishes, our source pointed out. So does this mean the Lulia-Salman relationship is well and truly over? “For now, let’s just say it’s ‘frozen’,” our source said. “After Lulia left, Salman also got busy with the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. To be honest, he simply hasn’t had the time to think of his relationship.”
Timeline of a relationship
While we hear that Lulia’s talking about her relationship with Salman on social media was what made her run afoul of the Khan family, her Facebook and Twitter accounts have been fairly free of references to her superstar beau — for the most part.
Over May this year, Lulia posted a series of updates on Facebook about Salman’s hit-and-run case proceedings. Then, on May 10, she put a photo of the Khan family (Salman with his parents and sisters) on Facebook, captioning it “Lovely family”. On June 20, there was a “Happy Father’s Day daddy” message for Salim Khan. On November 6, however, her Facebook update read, “Life is a combination of sobs, sniffles and smiles, with sniffles predominating.” A reference to the end of her relationship with Salman, perhaps?
