Brother of Mohammed Nisham gets relief from Kerala High Court

A case was registered under IPC 195 (threatening any person to give false evidence)
Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Thursday stayed the proceedings against Muhammed Nisham’s brother Abdul Razak, who is an accused in threatening the key witness in the Chandrabose murder case.
Justice Kemal Pasha stayed the proceedings initiated by Thrissur west police against Abdul Razak for one month. A case was registered under IPC 195 (threatening any person to give false evidence).
The petitioner contended that the procedure adopted by the sessions judge after receiving the application of the CI was illegal. He said that a case was registered on a complaint filed by the Circle Inspector before the additional sessions court, Thrissur on the Nisham case.
K.C. Anoop had informed the court that Nisham’s brother had threatened to kill his wife and children. Following this, the court asked the police to take a case against Razak.
