Sathyaraj roped in for Lawrence’s film

Veteran actor Sathyaraj whose stakes have gone up post Baahubali, has been turning down villainous roles of late, which include the untitled Vijay-starrer too. Now, we hear the actor has been brought on board for the movie Motta Siva Ketta Siva which has Raghava Lawrence in a prominent role.

The movie is a remake of Tollywood hit Pataas, which had Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead. Lawrence will be sporting khaki for the first time in this film essaying the role of a corrupt IPS officer, who misuses his power for personal gains. After scouting several names, Nikki Galrani has been roped in as Lawrence’s pair in the movie.

Sai Ramani, who directed Jiiva in Singam Puli will wield the megaphone for Motta Siva Ketta Siva, which is being produced by RB Choudhary. The film also has Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah and others in pivotal roles. Amrish, the son of yesteryear actress Jayachithra, is in charge of the music.
