David Beckham all set for a game of football on ice
Mumbai: Former England footballer David Beckham is travelling across the globe as a part of a documentary project. The style icon, known for his spotless free kicks, recently stopped by at Antartica.
According to reports, he plans to play the beautiful game during his stay in one of the coldest places on earth. Beckham, who played for Manchester United and Real Madrid among other clubs, is likely to play the sport in seven continents.
Beckham – who is regular on Instagram – uploaded a photo saying: “Just marked the pitch out ... Anyone see the corner flag behind me?? game 5 Antartica WOW no words !!!!”
Earlier, the footballer visited Nepal and dribbled with children whose families were affected by the earthquake that shook the hilly region leading to a loss of at least 9,000 lives.
Before visiting Nepal, Beckham enjoyed a game of football in a shanty in Argentina, near to the south of Buenos Aires.
The star footballer was mobbed by the local people. The reports say that he played with the church team.
