His maiden venture titled James and Alice with Prithviraj in the lead will go on floors from December
All the movies the award-winning cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev has cranked the camera for this year have been super hits and the list includes Kamal Haasan’s latest Papanasam and Nadirshah’s Amar Akbar Anthony. His next project to hit the screen is screenwriter Sachy’s Anarkali, which has Prithviraj in the lead.
However, Sujith’s top priority now is to become a film director. In fact, he has taken a break from cinematography in order to concentrate on his directorial venture, James and Alice, which is all set to start rolling from December. Confirming the news, Sujith says, “Yes we are currently working on the final stage of pre-production works. The shoot will probably begin on December 7. Kochi will be the main location and later we will move to two other locales,” says the cinematographer who played a cameo in Amar Akbar Anthony.
Prithviraj, who has acted in six films which Sujith has wielded the camera for, is acting in the lead role, and Vedhika plays the female lead. Dr S. Janardhanan of Mahasamudram and Sahasaram fame has penned the script for James and Alice.
