Once the show got on the road, Sonam and kids took to the dance floor and broke into an impromptu jig while Salman and the rockers beat their drums.
For the piece, Sonam was seen sitting in the audience cheering for her leading man.
The actor, who will be seen playing Prem once again, danced with kids and even performed a drumming gig with them live.
While Sonam grooved to a few songs from the ‘PRDP’ soundtrack, Salman had a special rock performance in store for the kids.
The ‘PRDP’ team, who has been all over the country promoting their film, opted for this unconventional promotional strategy that would in turn benefit the kids.
The kids of the famous ‘junk band’ have been creating music with old and wasted items like buckets, tins, wooden planks etc.
Salman, Sonam, director Sooraj B Barjatya, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher spent the day interacting, dancing and playing with the kids from the ‘Dharavi Rock’ band.
Just a day before their movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ hit theatres nationwide, Salman, Sonam and their co-stars headed over to ‘rock’ Dharavi with a special promotional event for the kids.
