Mumbai Traffic Police are now helping their commuters to get active with registering complaints in an easier way—WhatsApp. You can simply send / register your complaint with the Mumbai Traffic Police by sending the message to them by using WhatsApp. The FPJ reported that the traffic complaint number can be used for voice and text chats with WhatsApp as well as regular text messaging. The number for the Mumbai Traffic Helpline is 8454999999.

You can register complaints such as incidents, jams, and others. The complaint will be issued a number which can also be tracked by you. The traffic complaint number will also be integrated with the MTPCALL app which was earlier issued by the Mumbai Traffic Police. The app can be downloaded and allow commuters to seek information such as traffic jams, parking areas, no entry points and a lot more, apart from tracking registered complaint numbers and contact information of traffic constables and chowkys. The app will also give out additional information about towing trucks and transport fares in the city.
