CM fan sets up statue of Chandrababu Naidu

He has erected a bronze statue of the CM in front of his house
GUNTUR: An ardent fan of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has erected a bronze statue of the CM in front of his house at Vinukonda in Guntur. Mr Sk. Rabbani, an interior designer from Peda Nala Bazaar of Vinukonda, erected Mr Naidu’s statue at his house for helping him get treatment for his heart ailment.
Statues of people who are alive are usually not installed, but that sentiment seems to be changing.
The family of Mr Rabbani was facing severe hardships when he was suffering from a heart ailment. He and his family went post-to-pillar for aid but in vain. TD leaders and locals had then suggested that he approach the AP CM. Mr Naidu later made arrangements for his treatment and he fully recovered.
Mr Rabbani said that after coming to know about the Amaravati foundation laying ceremony on October 22, he thought of thanking Mr Naidu for giving him a second life and decided to install a bust of the CM in front of his house.
He added that he had also tried to bring Mr Naidu on October 22 to unveil his own statue but that did not happen.
