There were many speculations associated with the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan in terms of its cast and crew. Apparently, many Tollywood directors were impressed with the storyline and racy narration of the film.
Recently, it has been confirmed that Ram Charan will reprise the role of Jayam Ravi in the remake and that the film will be directed by Surender Reddy.
However, the question of replacing Arvind Swamy’s character and the female lead still remains uncertain. The names of Nagarjuna, Madhavan and Swamy himself were doing the rounds for the antagonist’s role till they dimissed it as a rumour.
It’s heard that the shooting of the film will commence in January 2016. Meanwhile, leading filmmaker SS Rajamouli is the latest to have smitten by the movie.
The Baahubali director took to Twitter to say that he was happy to see the smart work that went into the making of the flick and was all praise for the music scored by Hip-hop Tamizha Adhi!
