Skyline scaping: Best places in Hyderabad to click that festive shot

Telugu Talli Flyover near Necklace Road for a nice view of the fireworks
As the city gets ready to celebrate Diwali, you may be in two minds about bursting crackers and lighting fireworks this time around with all the campaigns about a “noiseless” Diwali doing the rounds.
So here’s a third option for you instead: Getting your camera out and clicking photos of the celebrations on the city’s skyline! Photographers and culture enthusiasts alike around the city are gearing up not just to celebrate the festival, but to have a real visual experience of the same.
Hyderabad Trails, a group that organises themed cultural walks around the city, will have visited Maula Ali Hill for their Diwali night walk on Tuesday night, with organiser Gopala Krishna saying it’s one of the best places to have a panoramic view of the city’s celebrations.
“There’s also a place in Film Nagar called Hakeem Shah Baba Dargah, from where you get a very nice view of the city,” Gopala says, “And of course there’s Naubat Pahad (Birla Museum).” He also added that if you’re willing to travel a bit, there’s the Pahad-e-Sharif near the outskirts of the city that also offers a good view of the city’s skyline.
Karthik Abhiram, a photographer from the city, recommends the Telugu Talli Flyover near Necklace Road for a nice view of the fireworks, as well as the Golconda Fort.
“There are places near Charminar where you could also try to ask people to access the roofs of buildings, but of course, that’s at the discretion of the owners,” Karthik adds, “But if you do manage to get up there, you’ll definitely get good photos”
Closer to Secunderabad, both Gopala and Karthik say that Gunrock Hill is the perfect place to spot the works around the area.
