Mumbai: Roadrunnr will be celebrating a Green Diwali by distributing plantable bookmarks with almost every delivery they make on November 11th and 12th.
The bookmarks will be gifted in nicely packed biodegradable envelopes. The company’s delivery boys will hand-over one biodegradable envelope with every order they deliver across Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
Customers can use the plantable bookmarks and plant it in a pot as per instructions printed on the envelope and in 10 days they can look forward to a small plant blooming. A variety of seeds will be used so every customer will be surprised with a unique plant.
Viral Chhajer, Head of Marketing and Communications, Roadrunnr, says, “We are excited to launch this green initiative for Diwali and we will plant five trees for every bookmark planted by a customer. Roadrunnr team looks forward to planting more than 50,000 trees through this initiative.”
Roadrunnr will also gift merchants it works with, bamboo plants in customized pots. These can be placed on the reception of their restaurants adding to the ambience and showing their support for a green Diwali.
This initiative is in association with ‘Nurturing Green’ the pioneers in promoting the green concept of gifting, decor and landscaping.
