Watch: Teenager diagnosed with cancer gives a heart warming speech to his classmates

"None of us get out of life alive, so be gallant, be great, be gracious," he said

When Jake Bailey was diagnosed with cancer, he decided to give a heart-warming speech to his classmates on his graduation day.

He is undergoing treatment for aggressive cancer. He was given three weeks after being diagnosed with deadly cancer.

The 18 year old gave a surprise visit on his high school graduation day despite being told by the doctor that he wouldn’t be here.

He attended the assembly in his wheelchair and asked his classmates and teachers to take hold of their lives and live it passionately.

He made this speech just days after being told that he had only few weeks to live if his cancer was not treated, Stuff.co.nz reported.

He said, “None of us get out of life alive, so be gallant, be great, be gracious, and be grateful for the opportunities you have. The opportunity to learn from the men who walked before you and those who walk beside you.”
