Hyderabad: Telangana State police has decided to have a crack on illegally imported fire crackers on Diwali. The state police issued order following information from Directorate of Revenue Intelligence that Chinese crackers have been imported to the state illegally.
The State Director General of Police Mr. Anurag Sharma ordered city and district police to monitor, detect and seize the illegally imported firecrackers.
The state police will raid commercial establishments and inform local commissioners of Customs if the imported materials are found.
