Sources said the early trends in Bihar assembly poll counting and overall political situation in the country are believed to have been discussed during the meeting.

Bhagwat had recently spoken about reservation that created a major controversy during the Bihar polls campaigning and leaders like RJD Chief Lalu Prasad claimed that

RSS was seeking to abolish the existing reservation for the backward classes, which the RSS vehemently denied later.

The Home Minister has extensively campaigned in the Bihar assembly polls where he addressed around 40 rallies. The BJP-led NDA, however, suffered a major drubbing at the hustings with the JD(U)-RJD-Congress grand alliance steering a stunning victory with two-thirds majority.
