Hyderabad: CA student goes missing

In a letter, Harika wrote she was diagnosed with cancer
Hyderabad: A CA student went missing from her home Friday, after leaving a note that said she was suffering from cancer and wanted to die the soonest.
N. Harika, who was with Sri Medha CA Institute in Ameerpet, left home in the morning on the pretext of attending an examination and did not return, her family said.
Harika is the elder daughter of Sambaiah and Lavanya staying at Ranapratapnagar in Borabanda area. Around 1 pm, Sambaiah called on her mobile and found it was lying in the bedroom.
When he went in, he found a letter placed under the phone. She had written in it that she was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She would commit suicide in Husainsagar lake, she said, and urged her parents not to search for her body.
In the note, she said she did the check-up at a corporate hospital and kept the information to herself, as she did not want to give pain to her parents. “I want to commit suicide. Please forgive me and I will make you happy if I get a new life again,” read Harika's suicide note.
Police has registered a 'missing' case. “We did not get any clue other than the note. We did not get to see any of her medical reports also,” said Sanathnagar inspector A. Sudershan.
