Snatchers rob three women in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Chain-snatchers struck again in the city on Thursday. Three women were robbed in Malkajgiri, Medipally and Saroornagar and were relieved of 25.5 grams of gold jewellery.
In the first incident at Malkajgiri, P. Padma, 45, a housewife from Medipally came to her sister-in-law's house in Moula Ali. Padma and her sister-in-law were searching for a house on rent.
While they were walking on the premises of the Satyanarayana Reddy community hall in Jawaharnagar two bike-borne men came and snatched the 3 tola gold chain of Padma and fled.
The victim said the snatchers were wearing a striped shirt and cap. In the second incident at Medipally, Jaitulu, 30, a housewife from East Balajinagar was attacked while she was going to home after picking up her kids from school.
Jaitulu took her kids from school and was walking home. When she was near the Ayyappa Temple in Balaji Hills a person came from behind and snatched her 2 tola gold chain.
In another incident in Saroornagar, N. Tarakamma 40, a housewife from Turkayamjala, who came to Champapet to pay chit money was attacked by snatchers. She got down from the bus and was walking in the Suryanagar area. When she reached the Hindu graveyard, a biker snatched her 2.5 gram gold chain and fled towards the main road to Owaisi Hospital.
