Bus blocks view, bike hits 5-year-old
An oral complaint was filed at the Saifabad police station against the illegal parking of buses
Hyderabad: A five-year-old girl suffered a broken leg and nose as she was crossing the road at Red Hills. The girl was knocked down by a bike. However, the reason for this accident was the illegal parking of college buses in a residential area of Red Hills. A college bus was parked on the main lane of Red Hills and it blocked the view of the speeding bike.
An oral complaint was filed at the Saifabad police station against the illegal parking of buses. Residents said many such incidents had happened in the last two months but buses continue to park at the same place.
Mohd Ahmed, a resident of Red hills and an eye witness said, “Everyday three college buses are illegally parked in the Rayalseema Ruchulu Lane of Red Hills which is a shortcut to Nampally court. The girl Suhana was crossing the road. The bus blocked her view and a bike hit her. The biker didn’t help her. The girl suffered injuries on her forehead, broke her nose and her leg.”
