It looks like director Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2, a sequel to the hit movie Aranmanai, starring Siddharth, Trisha and Hansika, will release on January 14, during the Pongal festival. Producer Khushboo Sundar of Avni Cine Max has announced the same on Twitter. Currently, the film is in the postproduction stage. “Aranmanai 2 1st song wl b rlsd on diwali..#Sundar.C is busy wid final post production..movie releases in jan 2016 4 Pongal..no confusions (sic).”
Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi composed music for this horror comedy. Also we hear that the movie has cleared the censors with a clean ‘U’ certificate. Poonam Bajwa and Soori play pivotal roles in the film. Recently, the team was also in news for creating an Amman statue, which is 103-feet high, to can the climax sequence of the film.
