The much-awaited trailer of Vedalam that was supposed to release on Thursday mid-night was not out, leading to disappointment among hordes of Ajith fans. Inside sources say that the film, which will hit the screens on November 10, might not have a prior trailer release, which is unusual for a star hero in the recent past in K’town.
The 45-second teaser, which was released a month ago, created quite a stir in social media and was trending for a day. The film is releasing in a record number of screens in some overseas centres despite the presence of the other biggie, Thoongavanam. However, the uncertainty pertaining to the trailer continues, and the filmmakers haven’t yet made a statement.
Meanwhile, there are fans that opine that the film is just four days away from release and they wish to watch their matinee idol directly on screen rather than in a two-minute or three-minute trailer.
