Leonardo DiCaprio was honoured at the Screen Actors Guild 30th anniversary celebrations on Thursday and was awarded with the Actors Inspiration Award, both, for his acting career and philanthropic work.
According to JustJared.com, the award was given for “his exceptional onscreen career and philanthropic dedication as chairman of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which raises awareness of both climate change and the need to protect biodiversity”.
The ceremony, which took place in Beverly Hills, California, saw stars like Diane Kruger, James Corden, Patrick Stewart and Lee Daniels also in attendance.
