Zoya Akhtar trolled

Director Zoya Akhtar was trolled on Thursday after she said she would have returned the national award (if she had one to her credit) given the current situation in the country. “If I had the national award, I would have returned it. It is a peaceful way of saying things, expressing things. I support them,” Zoya said.

However, Zoya’s comment was enough to start a troll fest online and soon, she became the butt of all the jokes. While some took nasty jabs at her by asking her to refund their money spent on the “pathetic Dil Dhadakne Do”, others asked her to return Farhan’s awards.
