Warangal ex-MP Siricilla Rajaiah and family taken into custody

Women’s rights activists, relatives of Sarika, lead by AIDWA gathered in large numbers

Warangal: Warangal Congress ex-MP Siricilla Rajaiah, his wife and son were taken into custody for questioning here on Wednesday amid tension following the death of his daughter-in-law Sarika and three grandchildren in his house.

Women’s rights activists, local women and relatives of Sarika from Nizamabad, lead by AIDWA president Ratnamala, gathered in large numbers in front of Rajaiah’s residence in Revenue Colony in Hanamkonda and demanded his arrest and action against the family. At a point they even tried to barge into the house.
