3 air passengers arrested for fighting with cop

Based on a complaint from the policeman, the three were arrested by the airport police
Chennai: Three air passengers who locked horns with a police constable attached to the immigration wing at the international terminal in Chennai airport were arrested on Tuesday night after they questioned the indecent approach of the policeman.
The arrested were identified as Anwar Baig, 51, of Perambur, his son-in-law Ramlith Khan, 27 and his business associate R. Jayaraman, 39, of Periyar Nagar. When the three questioned the policeman for using disrespectful language a quarrel broke out following which Anwar Baig and policeman Kasinathan were engaged in physical scuffle.
The other two soon joined the group. The three were getting ready to take a flight to Colombo to go to China when the incident happened.
Based on a complaint from the policeman, the three were arrested by the airport police.
