Nizam College Principal Prof T.L.N. Swamy said a committee had been constituted to inquire into the incident. “The final year student asked him to recite his bio and misbehaved with Anand Kumar. He has not made any official complaint but we have constituted a committee and a report will be submitted by Friday. We will take all necessary action.”
Abids inspector K. Srinivas said no complaint has been lodged by Anand Kumar though they did visit the college on information.
Anand Kumar had climbed atop Everest last year along with Malavath Poorna, who became the youngest girl to achieve the feat.
