‘Time to respect the roaches on Bigg Boss’

‘I’ve watched five-six episodes from the current season and few from the last season’

Puneet Vashist is the latest wildcard to enter the Bigg Boss house. The actor admits that he was never a fan of the show. He says, “I wasn’t, but I think the time has come to respect the platform and the cockroaches inside. I’ve watched five-six episodes from the current season and few from the last season. I am very cut off from all this — a fakir aadmi like Kishore Kumar.”

Speaking about the other wildcard in the house, Rishabh Sinha, Puneet says that the two are very different. He says, “The media has put Rishabh on the same platform as me. That guy looked cute in Qubool Hai, but he has done just one show, while I have done 22 films. I have kept four films on hold for Bigg Boss. I have also trained Shah Rukh and Aamir in dance, as I used to be Ahmed Khan’s chief assistant. Next, I’m going to the Oscars. I could have been SRK or Aamir today but I was never interested — like I said, I choose to live like a fakir.”

Speaking about his plans for the show and his take on the housemates, Puneet tells us, “The plan is to be myself and let the world know about me. I have positive aggression within me. Just yesterday I realised that Kishwar has a monkey face. Prince should learn the difference between ‘sport’ and ‘support’. I also teach acting and voice modulation, so I will help these contestants improve themselves.”

Elaborating further on his credentials, he adds, “Acting runs in the family. My father was called ‘Jerry Lewis of India’ during his time. I come from a high caste Brahmin family and plan to teach housemates a thing or two.”
