TVM collector to play himself in Thank You Very Much

The film revolves around a young boy who runs away from home
Thiruvananthapuram District Collector Biju Prabhakar plays himself in a new Malayalam film called Thank You Very Much, directed by Sajinlal. The film revolves around a young boy who runs away from home after a lot of mental stress. “It is about students who are under pressure to perform well in their studies, and cannot cope.
The lead character in the film is a plus two student who does well in extracurricular activities but is an average student in his class,” says Sajinlal. “He is under stress, with his parents and teachers telling him over and over to perform in class and runs away. The film says what happens to him, what happens to his parents back home and his teachers. The collector plays himself in a scene where we have a PTA Meeting. He advises the parents and teachers that the only way to win over children is with love, and not by hitting or scolding them.”
This is Sajinlal’s second film, after Crayons, a children’s film with a message. He has also directed serials and many other programmes for television.
