After the success of Naanum Rowdy Thaan, it was announced that Dhanush would produce yet another film with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.
There was speculation that the movie would be a remake of Mollywood hit flick Premam, while there were also rumours of Aishwarya Dhanush directing it. The news died a natural death after everyone associated with it, denied it.
The latest we hear is that Selvaraghavan will be the director for the film, which will be produced under Wunderbar Films. It should be noted that Selvaraghavan, who was directing Kaan with Simbu and Taapsee in lead roles, had put the project on the back burner. However, official confirmation is awaited on this. While Sethupathi has more than half a dozen films awaiting release, Irandam Ulagam starring Arya and Anushka was the previous outing of Selva.
