Easybuy aims to open 50 stores soon

Hyderabad: Landmark Group, which owns and operates Lifestyle, Max and Spar stores, plans to open 50 branches of its apparel store, Easybuy, in the next three years, informed a senior company official. Speaking at a press meet here on Wednesday, Easy Buy’s vice-president and business head Rajiv Ranjan said, “We plan to have a store each in all the districts of the country. We will be opening 50 stores in three years and 200 stores in six years.” Of the 50 stores, 40 would come up in tier-II and tier-III cities.
The collection at the stores range from Rs 69 to Rs 699. “We operate on a franchise model and Rs 1 crore is invested in setting up each store,” Mr Ranjan said. The company recently opened two stores in Vikrampuri and Dilsukhnagar in the city and plans to open three to four stores here by 2016. Earlier, it had launched its first store in Karimnagar. Easybuy has nine stores in south India, of which seven are in AP and Telangana. It plans to focus on the southern market before venturing into other geographical locations.
